Continuous Minimalist Lighting Plan in an Architectural Concrete House
In one of Baks Arkitekter’s distinctive concrete houses, we developed a comprehensive lighting plan focused on supporting the home’s minimalist architecture and tactile materials.
To create a harmonious dialogue with the clean lines of the house, we worked with Faustlight’s classic 60/100 Coverplate spots in matt nickel, providing a consistent and flexible base lighting solution throughout the residence.
In the kitchen, the lighting is complemented by Anour’s I-Model profile above the kitchen island, specified in brushed stainless steel to integrate naturally with the other fixtures. In addition, white Spyco Clip spots from Delta Light have been installed in the kitchen skylight to provide functional lighting when daylight diminishes and natural light is no longer sufficient.
In the bathrooms, the 60/100 Wall Coverplate and Giopato & Coombes’ Softspot pendant give a comfortable, soft light at the mirrors.
Outside, the expression remains equally simple and architectural. Here, we have worked with recessed Logic Wall fixtures in aluminium grey as well as surface mounted Ultra X wall lights in black, both from Delta Light creating a discreet and cohesive facade lighting.
