The Architecture Prize 2023 to Atelier Lise Juel

Atelier Lise Juel has received the Architecture Prize 2023 for the project “Family Country House”. The house owner and architect received the award from expert judge Lars Bendrup on Architecture Day in Silkeborg with the following words:

»The project is awarded for creating an exemplary whole of landscape and building in a very special and beautiful place. The building is alive, alluring and sculptural, and the project is both beautifully materialized and reliably detailed. In all scales and contexts, the project presents a great profit and becomes a natural focal point in the area. The project reminds us that the most beautiful places must be built with the greatest ambitions and in harmony with the landscape one occupies.«
