Comprehensive Lighting Design for Nørrebro Food Hall

For Nørrebro Food Hall, we developed the lighting design in close collaboration with architect Jesper Wichmann from Wicher Studio, with a focus on creating warm and flexible zones that invite guests to sit down and enjoy their meals while supporting the informal atmosphere of the food hall.

The general lighting is based on our own MR track system with mounted LED spots and cylindrical pendants, all in a raw aluminium finish to complement the architecture and harmonize with the interior.

The technical lighting is complemented by decorative coloured fixtures from Encapsulite as well as Sammode’s characteristic and timeless pendants. At the centre of the space, a large table is highlighted by a custom lighting installation that ties the different zones together. The installation is composed of horizontal and vertical fluorescent tubes from Encapsulite.
