New Lighting Plan for Bottega Barlie That Preserves Its Warm and Informal Atmosphere

As part of the renovation of Bottega Barlie earlier this year, we developed a new, optimized lighting plan for the space. The focus was on maintaining the warm and informal atmosphere that defines Barlie, whether it’s breakfast guests, lunchtime visitors or the evening’s restaurant and wine bar crowd filling the room.

The pendant lights in the ceiling were replaced with a 3-phase track system fitted with LED spots, providing better and more flexible general lighting. Over the bar area and in the window sections, we chose the raw, architectural Purcell fixtures from Sammode. These complement the interior, create a welcoming atmosphere in the windows and provide a comfortable, warm light that doesn’t glare through the slats.
