Sammode is a French lighting manufacturer, founded in 1927,  known for high quality functional lighting. Their lamps are recognized for their industrial, timeless design, combining solid craftsmanship with modern technology. The product range spans from technical solutions to more architectural and decorative installations for public spaces, commercial projects and private homes.

Over the years, Sammode has continously developed their products with a strong focus on durability and functionality. In 2014, they began a collaboration with Normal Studio, which led to Sammode Studio – a collection with a greater focus on design, without compromising on technical quality.

Production still takes place in France, where all lamps are tested and developed at Sammode’s own Research & Innovation Center, which opened in 2019. Here all fixtures are subjected to demanding conditions to ensure they meet the highest standards, both technically and visually.

In 2027, Sammode will celebrate their 100th anniversary. For a century, Sammode has worked at the intersection of industry, architecture and design, and the company continues to carry its story forward.

We have a selection of Sammode fixtures on display in our showroom in Nordhavn, which can be viewed by appointment Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm.
